The Cull – Scotland’s Deer Dilemma

In the Scottish Highlands, a battle is raging over the future of the land and its largest mammal: the deer. This film explores the heated debate between landowners, environmentalists, and gamekeepers, revealing the complex dilemma of how to manage Scotland's wild spaces.

The Cull was my first feature documentary. It premiered at Banff Mountain Film Festival in 2020, where it won ‘Best Environmental Film’ and was lauded for its balanced, nuanced and skillful navigation of a complex topic. The film has since been acquired by Disney Plus.
