Woodland Trust – Sky Seeding

I was tasked by Here Now Films to capture a pretty audacious experiment led by The Woodland Trust to try and adapt agricultural drones to seed new areas of temperate rainforest in Cornwall.

It was a slightly madcap, trial and error approach to conservation, and it felt genuinely exciting to be along for the ride.

That feeling of fast moving innovation really fed the approach to the final film - I tried to really inject a pace and energy to the edit, combined with a loose, fly on the wall doc sensibility capturing the ups and downs of this proper experiment.
