Partners For A New Economy

I was commissioned by Partners For A New Economy to create a film for their 10th anniversary, with the title ‘What Could The Future Look Like?’

I used mixture of stock, archive, and some trusty home studio shots to visualise what the future 'could' look like. It was fascinating to find out more about the new economy field in the research process, including the excellent 'Doughnut Economics' by Kate Raworth - which also gave me a great excuse to buy a pack of doughnuts for work. 🍩

Both I and the P4NE team were really pleased with the end result, and it was great to work on something that echoes the need for new thinking around all of our systems. To borrow a quote from Sir David Attenborough, "Anyone who thinks that you can have infinite growth in a finite environment is either a madman or an economist."
